flutter......and lark press......

.....two more lovely shops that I visited while in portland.....and I know you all will enjoy the visual tastiness of both......

..first we have flutter {a delightful disarray of found objects and clutter}......I'm already a goner just in the description....but, then look at that bright turquoise wall with the red and white wheel and the beautiful butterflies and just the crazy amazing way that pieces are displayed and presented.......it's simply a feast......

....then I skipped on down the street to lark press.....and I think you all are aware of my love of all things letterpress.....the best of the best.......and I was not disappointed .......I even got to see the actual press and talk to owner jean about her shop and her work.....{very cool!}

...I bought the cutest cards that have pieces of furniture on them ........and a tshirt with a tree and a deer {go figure!}......they also have the cutest silkscreened baby clothing line called little lark.......totally check it out......

little "g" and his armoire......

.....I can't even begin to tell you how much I love this little guy....and how many tears I shed when I had to leave him and my little sister .....

...I'm so thankful for the time we had.....I will treasure it....and look so forward to the next time.......

....while I was there I worked on this piece for "g".....it was hard to get a good "after " shot.......

..but I think you get the idea......and what about that top drawer full of goodies!
