....well my friends.....it has been a wild few days..... but I am completely moved out of 1207 and into 1288......and when I say into....I mean everything is in the studio......in boxes......and all over the place :) ....this next week will be organization and set up.....and as I get everything set up I will take some good shots.......but for now I think you all will enjoy the bathroom makeover....complete with new gray walls, painted ceiling, sink skirt, ikea mirror, sparkling white potty, shiny sealed cement floors and crisp white painted doors and trim......it had to be done......it was a hot mess......

working working......

....put the last coat of "wet look" cement sealer on the floors at the new studio this morning! will be moving in the big stuff tomorrow! I am working to get a few good photos for monday.....:)

....but for now this photo makes me happy and I'm looking forward to these parasols coming out for spring.....

guess who is coming tomorrow?!......

....seriously my friends......I pick up my fantastic little sister and this beautiful man at the airport in the morning.....I absolutely cannot wait!......and then my parents and brothers fam get in on sunday......I'm so looking forward to spending time with my sweet family....and introducing them to the new knack home......I'm so thankful for each one of them and the support and strength they give to me ........

.....I'm going to sign off for the rest of the week...it is so crazy around here...in a good way..... moving the studio, and family in town.......but I promise to be back monday with some great interior before and after shots of the new studio space.....the painters started tonight so we'll see what all they get done......

.....well my friends.......ever since my clarity moment things started changing like crazy at knack........doors slammed shut....... new doors flung open ....

......I knew this year would be a year of change.....I was running out of room and the business needs were changing.........I knew that I needed to start looking for more square footage.......it's just that I was so happy with my little 600 square foot space......and how it felt like home every time I walked through the front door. It's called the "comfort zone"....and I didn't want to leave.....it had served me so well...but deep inside I knew it was time........and that was exciting and scary all at the same time......

..... then, the most miraculous thing happened......the perfect storefront was waiting for knack to come in and breathe new life into it's forgotten space........ take all of the bars off the windows....add some color to the walls.....a fresh coat of paint on the storefront and awnings....welcoming old and new friends....

....adding signs of life.....signs of sparkle and energy that have been missing for a long time....

...I'm so excited about this new chapter....the blood is pumping my friends....and did I mention that it is 1500 square feet? .......so there is plenty of room to grow and produce my little wooden people that I am so passionate about.........and it will feel like home........soon....

...painters start today....... there are many pictures to come......
