Introductions

Today, I would love for you all to meet "woodington". I have had this chair in the studio for a while, and I just kept putting off the redo. I would search for fabric and nothing would hit me as THE one, and so therefore my little chair buddy just sat and stared at me with sad button eyes.

Well, a few weeks back, I came across this fabric....and needless to say, I couldn't get the scissors to cut fast enough! I knew exactly where this fabric would go, and in my minds eye a plan began to form. I dropped her off at my buddy Dale's house (he is the upholstery genius!) and when I got her back....my jaw literally dropped to the floor. I love her....love her. In fact the hubs said we need to keep her....but then I said, like  I always do ..."I'll do another one!" ..... and indeed I will.

You can visit woodington in the etsy shop.

Soooo fun! I love it! And I have 2 chairs almost exactly like that one that are rounded rather than square that I want to make over someday. Very inspiring!

Beautiful! Have you ever done your own upholstery? I'm curious about it. I'd love to learn. I just recovered a chair and bench and its made me want to know more about proper upholstery.

That is definitely a lounging chair... looks comfy! I love the pattern and color and would love to learn how to do upholstery.

Heidi Jo, yay! thank you girl! Let me see your chairs when you get them done! I love your funky style :)

Lizajane, The only upholstery that I do is little chair seats. I leave this kinda stuff to the big boys! My upholstery guy is second generation and he can spit tacks.....it is so cool! He tells me you are constantly learning new things in upholstery which I find interesting.

Allison, You are too, too kind! Thank YOU for saying such things to make me blush and smile and get all giddy!

Cassie, Thank you friend! I love that you are constantly singing, or thinking of songs....you are so cheerful...and you have a happy heart! love that!
